AGRISCIENCE LABORATORIES was bornout of the concern of a group of scientists and entrepreneurs about the future of Greek seed production. fundamental principles that underlie the operation of AGRISCIENCE
LABORATORIES are team work, knowledge, experience and values of its scientific and auxiliary staff, along with the cooperation of scientists from Greece’s largest universities.
All cooperations are being supervised by Greek and international institutions, quality control and certification institutes.
It was AGRISCIENCE LABORATORIES’ innovative philosophy on field crops varieties that created the need for a seed bank in order to rescue any, threatened by extinction, propagating material.
AGRISCIENCE LABORATORIES has also successfully released to the cultivation varieties mainly adapted to greek environmental conditions and common growing practices, always in accordance with current legislation and market requirements.
In order for the genetic material to fully meet the requirements of Greek legislation for production and certification, AGRISCIENCE LABORATORIES runs seed quality control laboratories which perform all the required measurements-analyses from the field to the final product.
In summary, the mission AGRISCIENCE LABORATORIES has undertaken, is to provide the producer with certified, efficient varieties, profitable foreverybody involved in the production chain, but always with great respect to the environment.
